Joe Basi, former drummer of King 7, sent me a message to tell me he has a new band with members of King 7 and the Soulsonics called the Felt Tips. I dont really have a lot of information on them right now but they are currently recording a record so as soon as I receive more information from Joe Ill post it. For now, check their myspace to hear some demos for their new record. Thanks to Joe for helping out with the info.

Update from Joe:
Ok, well the new band will be releasing a cd summer 2008, it is
tentatively called The Felt Tips but the band name will likely change
this month.
It is ultimately a traditional ska/reggae band with hints of modern styles.
It is made up of:
Joe Basi- Drums (Former King 7, Jive Step Bunch)
Sam Gelberd - Sax (Former King 7, Jive Step Bunch)
Sean Portanova- Keys, Trumpet (Former King 7, Jive Step Bunch)
Matt Rowls- Guitar (Middle Finger Mob, Flag of Darkness)
Jesse "More Beer" Steele - Bass (Double Agents, Where Fear and
Weapons Meet)
Ali "Massive" Hussan - Vox (too many projects to list here)
Sky Rheam - Keys, Guitar
