403 Chaos - Florida Fucking Hardcore

This is a killer comp put out in the late 90s by Schematics Records, Steve Heritage of Assuck fame's label. Basically a compilation of bands that had played at the legendary club in Tampa, 403 Chaos. This comp is about 10 years old now and shows a great variety of bands from Florida including the mighty Jud Jud. While I could go on, Mr. Andrew "Boxcar Records" Chadwick gave a great description in Ink 19.

From Ink 19

"This is a compilation of bands that have played at 403 Chaos in Tampa, as well as a great representation of Florida hardcore. It's not comprehensive, but it covers a lot of ground. An amazing comp with great bands in a wide variety of styles under the general hardcore umbrella. This is a CD packaged as a ten-inch, with lots to read and look at (lyrics, fliers, contributions from the zines In Abandon and Haili). Tracks are from Reversal of Man, Tomorrow, Assuck, Strikeforce Diablo, Hot Water Music, Combat Wounded Veteran, Cavity, Omega Man, Nineteen Hundred and Twelve, Early Grace, Discount, Dragbody, Twelve Hour Turn, Cease, Hankshaw, Bird of Ill Omen, I Hate Myself, Scrotum Grinder, and Jud Jud, most of which are unreleased elsewhere. An inspiring result of combined dreams and creativity. Totally necessary."

It would be nice if somebody would create a facebook page for 403. That way people could post their pics taken there at shows and stuff. Keep the place alive. The people who ran the old club DNA in Tampa did the same thing.
