Thought Crime

City: Miami
Years Active: 1995 - 1998
Type of Music: Metal/Hardcore
Myspace or Website: n/a

Alot of people gave Thought Crime crap because they played the Snapcase show in 1997. Amy Fiddler booked it and was friends with them and put them on. They took me to my first show in 1995 and I am forever grateful for that. Regardless of what kids thought, they were very talented and had they toured who knows where they would have gone. They recorded two full length cassettes before breaking up. Wonder what they're up to now...

This is the drummer from Thought Crime (R.I.P.)

How do we know each other? We took you to your first show in '95?

I had no idea so many of the scenesters scorned us for the Snapcase show. But what were we supposed to do, forfeit a show like that? Before that the biggest name we opened up for was Strongarm, but they were still local. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to open for Snapcase and I doubt there was a band out there that would have passed that up.

Anyway, I love the blog and thanks for helping me reminisce on some very good days!

Of course I do! Is this your blog?!?!

We all took votes and narrowed it down to either you or Roy. But I was leaning towards Roy because I know you've been very busy man since we left Miami (Where Fear and Weapons Meet, Destro, etc).

Hit me up.

Who the hell gave us crap for playing with Snapcase? I guess no one had the balls to say it to our faces. Please send me a list of names so I can find these people and address this 12 year old pettiness with more pettiness.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Richard Rodriguez
